Probiotic Powder Stick Pack Packaging
Planning individual stick packs for a probiotic powder? Review your formulation’s handling requirements, fill weight, film and seals together, then assess dosing and packing with a representative sample.

Your powder. Your pack.
Start with the powder you will actually pack
A probiotic label alone is not enough to choose a machine. The review needs your actual blend and its handling instructions, together with a clear picture of the finished pack.
- Storage and handling conditions specified for your formulation
- Target fill weight, dosing checks and finished-pack dimensions
- Film, seal and product-protection requirements from your technical team
Bring these to the discussion
- 01A product description, handling instructions and any sample photos.
- 02The proposed fill weight, pack dimensions and available film information.
- 03Your questions about dosing or sealing; agree on test conditions before shipping samples.
Application review
Four checks before choosing a powder packing setup
Use these checks to connect your formulation and pack requirements to a configuration choice or a clearly defined sample test.
- 01Check how the powder reaches the filler
Use the intended blend and its handling instructions. Record storage, temperature and exposure conditions, then observe feeding at start-up and after refill. If the sample or conditions differ from intended production, record that difference before using the result to choose a feeding arrangement.
- 02Check fill weight under agreed conditions
Define the target fill weight and measurement method before the trial. Compare recorded weights across lanes and during the agreed run and refill conditions, rather than judging by visible fill height. Use the findings to decide whether the dosing configuration needs adjustment or further testing.
- 03Review the film and seal together
Use the intended film and pack dimensions to review forming, sealing and opening. Inspect the seal area for powder and include the agreed leak checks. A clean-looking pack alone does not establish oxygen or moisture protection; keep the film information and your product requirements in the review.
- 04Finish with a usable test decision
Record the sample batch, film, settings, measurements and unresolved issues. Mark substitute material or film clearly. Carry the recorded conditions into the next engineering discussion, with a supported configuration choice or a specific question for retesting.
